Vicky - Hi, my name is Vicky Bright. I am originally from New Zealand, having lived in this area of England for the past 7 years and I am very excited about being part of the Natural Health & Beauty Clinic in the picturesque seaside village of Arnside.
My background in Remedial Therapies started at Lancaster and Morecambe College where firstly I completed an Aromatherapy and Reflexology Diploma along with a Diploma in Sports Therapy and then went on to complete an advanced Sports Therapy Course. Having worked in this field for many years now I find my work very rewarding, especially when you have great successes with happy pain free clients leaving your premises having recovered from an injury, pain or strain. More recently I have undertaken two courses in Electrolysis and Thermology, they are very different from my sports background but enable me to offer varied treatments to a wider range of people.
I am looking forward to the challenges that new clinic brings, I hope to encourage new and existing clients to come to the clinic and enjoy what we have to offer and that clients will be seen regularly coming through the clinic door, to be received with a smile to enjoy some pampering and time for themselves. With the team of Therapists and Practitioners working in the clinic we should be able to cater for most people’s individual needs.

Colin Milne MCFHP, MAFHP 1983-2010
My training as a Chiropodist began in 1981 with the Smae Institute. I passed my Chiropody exams in 1983 and started my own domicillary visiting practice. Later that year I was able to open my own surgery on Garstang Road, Preston, Lancashire. This became a very successful practice for 24 years, during which time I attended the Preston North End Football Team once a week looking after player's foot care needs.
In 2007 it was necessary to have a break from Chiropody due to a hip operation. I am now fully fit again, and as a resident of Arnside, Cumbria, I am pleased to be able to offer my Chiropody skills in the village and surrounding area.

Stuart - I qualified as a teacher and youth and community worker in 1974 and have a wide range of experiences working in residential special and state special schools and education for Looked After Children. I have specialist experience in working with social, emotional and behavioural issues as teacher, a carer and a keyworker.
I also qualified as a Methodist Lay Preacher in 1978 and as part of my commitment to the community I supervised respite summer holidays for children organised by the WRVS of Cumbria.
I have been a Cumbria Schools County Team Manager in a variety of sports including Athletics, Cross Country and Race Walking encouraging athletes to achieve their potential.
As an examiner for AQA and  Edexcel with  home tutor experience I have helped many young people to develop their confidence and learning skills to achieve their potential .I am CRB checked to work with children and young people.
Having faced many personal life changes in the past few years I re-trained and qualified as a Professional Hypnotherapist through Chrysalis, accredited by the Hypnotherapy Society. The Society is dedicated to the professional ethic use of hypnosis and its members are bound by a strict code of practice and ethics.My practice has professional indemnity insurance.
I cover the Morecambe Bay and South Lakes area from Barrow in Furness to Kendal to Morecambe and Lancaster.

JEAN -  I am a Specialist Occupational Therapist currently working for the NHS while pursuing my own interests in, and passion for, holistic healing. I was born in 1960 and have had a varied life and work, including managing hotels and pubs and raising my children with all the excitement and tragedy that life can bring.

In common with many therapists it was the search for my own healing and well-being that led me on a journey of discovery, and ultimately gaining qualifications in Counselling Skills, Hypnotherapy and Reiki.  I am a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists, a member of the Hypnotherapy Society and am fully insured to practise Reiki, Hypnotherapy and Occupational Therapy.  I abide by the codes of ethics of the Hypnotherapy Society, the Reiki Federation and the British Association of Occupational Therapists.
