Single Session: £35

3 Sessions: £90

6 Sessions: £160

PCC is talking therapy, a holistic way to improve your wellbeing. The journey is yours, i am hear to help you, to walk with you on what could be the most revealing trip you have ever taken, searching for the real you.

Together we will try to understand why you feeland react as you do to certain situations, and then work together we work toward change. We will work at a pace to suit you, remember this is your journey so you are in charge, and share your feelings when you feel comfortable doing so.

By allowing me to enter your frame of reference and understanding how you view life, others and most improtantly yourself, will help me connect with you on a deeper, more emphatic level.

The journey can be difficult, saying things outloudthat have only ever been spoken inside your head, letting us both hear for the first time how you really feel. Allowing you to be totally honest in a safe, caring, environment.

Carl Rodgers, the founder of PCC believed we all have an innate tendancytowards personal growth and self realisation, he called it "self actualisation" "to be all we can be"

Carl Rodger was the American psychologist who developed PCC He believed that the client is the expert and knows what hurts, what direction the therapy should take, the experiences that have been buried, and what problems are most crucial.

It's the counsellors job to help people take responsibility for themselves and their lives. Rodgers believed that the experience of being understoodand valued can give a client the freedom to grow. The counsellor offersthe clientcore condition, empathy, unconditional positive regard and genuineness.

Empathy describes the ability of the counsellor to understand the client at a deeper level, being aware of what the client is experiencing within the counselling room at that moment.

UPR is accepting the client for who they are, being non judgemental and respectful of the client as a unique individual

Genuineness or congruenceas Rodgers calls it is the counsellors sincerity, honesty, and authenticity within the counselling relationship

The type of counselling is humanistic and has the philosophy that given the chance, each person has the ability to a more fullfilling way of being and living their lives. A client can achieve a greater self awareness and acceptance of themselves if they will lisen and trust themselves to find their own answers and direction in life.

The theraputic relationship can be a place of safety were a client can be themselves, a place where they are listened too and heard, not judged, but respected and accepted.
