Electrolysis

Electrolysis is the only permanent method of removing unwanted hair from the face and body. It is performed by inserting a tiny needle into the hair follicle then an electrical current is passed through it via a small machine. The sensation you feel depends on pain threshold and the area being treated; for example the top lip will be more sensitive than the lower leg.

Electrolysis Has over 120 years of proven results. There are three methods of treatment, all involving the insertion of a needle into the hair follicle, using a short wave diathermy current passes down the needle, which treats the root of the hair. Undergoing a number of electrolysis treatments the root is destroyed, therefore stops the hair re-growing.

There are other methods of hair removal available however; electrolysis is the most effective and more affordable option for most people. It can be used on any skin type, to remove light coloured hair, and treatment can be performed on different parts of the body.

Unwanted or excessive hair growth can cause stress and anxiety however; undertaking a cause of regular electrolysis treatments hair will gradually become weaker, paler in colour and reduce growth resulting in less hair re-growth.

Thermology

A safe and effective method using a gentle diathermy current to remove red thread veins, skin tags and milia (in the face and neck) with minimum discomfort.

Thermology treatments are started a thorough consultation is undertaken and small a area may be treated to establish suitability for future treatments. Possible causes and development of Telangic conditions will be discussed and advice on after care treatment is given.
Thermology can be used to successfully treat most conditions, in some cases drug or medical related problems will need to be referred to the Doctor before proceeding.

Electrolysis & Thermology treatments are performed by qualified therapists using pre-packed sterile disposable needles in a safe sterile environment. The machines used are PAT certified, confirming they have been tested yearly by a qualified electrician.
